Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven decision-making by developing reports, dashboards, and insights that drive business performance. This role involves working with large datasets, building visualizations, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize reporting processes. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, proficiency in Power BI and Excel, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Your Impact

As Business Intelligence Analyst your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Work collaboratively across the Digital Product & Applications team along with key business partners in S&T (finance, vendor management, etc.)
  • Analyze large datasets, identify trends, and create meaningful visualizations using Power BI and Excel to support business strategies.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports, ensuring accurate and timely data presentation.
  • Work closely with business leaders, finance teams, and other departments to understand reporting needs and provide insights.
  • Develop dynamic reports using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables, Power Query) to support financial and operational analysis.
  • Create dashboards with DAX calculations, data modeling, and interactive filtering to enhance business insights.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of reporting workflows, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Use SQL to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources for reporting and analysis.
  • Leverage Power Automate to automate reporting processes and integrate data across applications.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience either internally or with a Top-Tier consulting firm
  • Proficiency in Power BI: Ability to develop complex reports and dashboards, including DAX calculations and data modeling.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Expertise in Excel formulas (including VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.) and experience with Power Query for data transformation and modeling.
  • SharePoint Knowledge: Experience in configuring SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows.
  • Automation Skills: Familiarity with Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) for workflow automation and integration across different applications.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL skills for querying databases, performing data manipulation, and basic database administration tasks.
  • Coding Abilities: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • The candidate selected for this position will be a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment. He/she must be accustomed to working on multiple tasks in parallel.
  • This professional must be analytical and persuasive in their relationships and be able to gain and hold the respect of key stakeholders within the company.
  • Problem-solving Orientation: Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and implement enhancements to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Business Case Solutioning: Experience in understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions, including developing business cases and recommendations.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Skills in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and presenting insights effectively using tools like Power BI and Excel.
