Business Development Representative – US Time Zone (B2B SaaS)

Location: Remote (Must be able to work US hours)

Trustana is a B2B SaaS company based out of Singapore transforming how businesses manage and optimize product data. Our solutions help retailers, distributors, and brand owners streamline workflows, improve product discovery, and drive sales.

We are expanding our footprint in the US market and looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate and qualify leads, build relationships with potential clients, and help grow our presence in North America.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively identify and engage potential customers through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  2. Market Research: Identify key industry trends, potential customers, and strategic entry points into the US market.
  3. Qualify Leads: Conduct initial discovery calls to assess customer needs, pain points, and fit for Trustana’s solutions.
  4. Collaborate with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
  5. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM.
  6. Event & Webinar Participation: Represent Trustana in virtual events, webinars, and trade shows focused on SaaS and retail technology.

Qualifications

  1. 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (must have experience in B2B SaaS).
  2. Strong communication and persuasion skills—comfortable reaching out to cold leads.
  3. Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
  4. Understanding of SaaS sales cycles and consultative selling is a plus.
  5. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a remote environment.
  6. Must be available to work US business hours (ET or PT preferred).
