Job Title: English Mathematics and Physics Teacher

Location: American School Foundation of Chiapas, Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico

Salary: US 1872 - 1900 a month

Minimum Requirements:

• Education Required: Bachelor
• Minimum Teaching Experience: 3 years of teaching experience
• Major: Science or Engineering
• Required Certificates: Teaching Credential/License, TESL/TEFL Diploma Level
• Work Visa Eligibility: United States (USA), Canada

Additional School Requirements:

• It is important to change residence to Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
• The institution supports the work visa process and carries out the corresponding procedures.
• Preferably live in the United States or Canada.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years as a teacher, especially in middle and high school.

Languages:

Excellent English is required as subjects are taught in English; speaking Spanish is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

The English mathematics and physics teacher will be responsible for teaching mathematics and physics in middle school (7th, 8th, and 9th grades). Responsibilities include delivering lesson plans and being observed by the science coordinator on several occasions. Experience teaching mathematics and physics is very important. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 15:00 hrs. There are two classrooms for each school grade.
