About the location:

On the stunning southern coast of Mexico’s Baja peninsula, experience Cabo’s Golden Corridor with Mexican chic and a cool Mediterranean vibe. In the heart of all the action, the coveted community of Cabo Del Sol is home to our modern hacienda-style village, with sparkling ocean views throughout. Position Overview:

  • The Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service with a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.
  • Be a part of something truly special! Join the pre-opening team of Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol as Bartender. This expansive property will include 96 beautifully appointed guestrooms and 61 Residences, centrally located in the "tourist corridor" between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo atop the breathtaking Baja California Sur with amazing views of the sea where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. Amenities will include three restaurants, three resort pools, an open-air fitness center, Spa & Spa Garden, and a Clubhouse event facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cocktail recipes according to the outlet concept and current trends, always following FS standards.
  • Provide food and beverage service to our guests and clients.
  • Guide the guest in the concept of the outlet and products, always seeking complete satisfaction of the expectations of our guests and clients, creating epic experiences.

Requirements:

  • Minimum experience of 2 years in ultra-luxury hotels.
  • Knowledge of high service standards.
  • High knowledge of the guidelines for service and health certifications.
  • Very strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, mixology, and wines.
  • Mastery in stressful situations and maintaining high-level service quality.
  • High ability to communicate with others.
  • Proficiency in the English language is essential.
  • Proactive.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and with a high volume of business.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize workload and projects simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Schedule availability.

Master Your Craft:

  • Comply with the standards of attending your work shift on time.
  • Complete assigned daily tasks.
  • Follow up on the area cleaning schedule.
  • Promote teamwork by delegating and executing daily tasks.
  • Attend and absorb the training done by FS.
  • Comply with annual training sent by learning.
  • Have knowledge of internal safety protocols in emergency situations.
  • Know and execute the safety and hygiene guidelines within the service and work shift, motivating others to do so as well.
  • Apply state liquor regulations, respecting the rules established for minors, intoxicated people, and driving while intoxicated.
  • Have full knowledge of the F&B menus, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, preparation times, etc. according to the outlet concept.
  • Ensure the correct set-up and misplace of the bar, during and at the end of the service period, following established standards.
  • Learn and follow the service sequence established under the standards for FS.
  • Anticipate the needs of our guests and colleagues.
  • Give recognition to our guests and clients.
  • Make sure to do the corresponding charges on the bills presented to our clients.
  • Ensure requesting the corresponding items according to the bar's stock, ensuring supply for the operational service.
  • Support in the periodic inventories.
  • Ensure the correct protection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic bar products.
