As Technical Consultant for Data Migration, you will leverage your experience with data migration to understand client data and plan strategies for the migration process. You will work with Functional Consultants to identify solutions to business and functional problems.

Where you will make an impact

• Ensure appropriate migration and corporate, client, and customer methods and procedures are followed.
• Analyze functional requirements, demonstrate ownership from migration review, maintain and upgrade the data.
• Analyze, write, build, and deploy migration tools.
• Deliver all assigned tasks with a high degree of quality on time consistently.
• Be a highly motivated self-starter with advanced capability to quickly learn and work with new technologies and complex technical environments, including a variety of databases and operating systems.
• Meet with clients to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
• Provide onsite consulting to analyze and resolve defects and issues, set technical expectations, define project architectures, among other duties.
• Deliver technical courses to the client.
• Write technical specifications.
• Utilize excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and infer requirements.
• Exhibit excellent writing skills.

What you will bring

• Experience in a migration environment.
• General Knowledge of Office 365.
• Desirable Technical Knowledge on some of the following Banner modules: General, Account Receivable, or Student.
• Desirable Knowledge of Ethos API or Data Connect.
• Knowledge of Java.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Familiarity with HTML 5/CSS, Angular JS or ReactJS, Groovy & Grails, Hibernate, JQuery, JSON, Node JS, Python, SQL or PL/SQL, Web API, Webservices, XML.
