As an Assistant Project Manager (APM) at RQ Construction, LLC, you will play a crucial role in the success of our commercial construction projects. From conceptual development to final completion, you will be involved in organizing, planning, directing, and monitoring various project processes. Whether supporting the Project Manager on larger projects, overseeing a specific area within a project, or managing small to medium projects independently, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership, teamwork, and discipline.
Qualifications:
- To excel as an Assistant Project Manager (APM) at RQ Construction, LLC, candidates must possess a BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in the construction industry will also be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy is a must, with specific software skills in Primavera 3/6, Oracle, BIM, and Revit being preferred.
- Candidates should have at least four years of construction industry experience, including a minimum of one year as a Project Engineer.
- CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications are required, with the opportunity for training provided. A QCM certificate would be advantageous.
Education & Experience:
- A BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is the minimum formal education required for this position.
- Four or more years of work experience in the construction industry or equivalent experience preferred, with one or more years' experience as a Project Engineer required.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook Internet, etc.) is essential.
- Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, BIM, Revit, Oracle) preferred.
- LEED credential desirable.
- QCM certificate desirable.
Benefits:
- Pay: $43,680 salary per year.
- 15 days of paid vacation per year, entitled to be taken after completing 2 years.
- Paid leave after 2 years of service of accrued time up to 30 days paid, and an additional 30 days unpaid between contracts (if desired).
