Android Developer for Embedded Devices

Senior position: 5 to 8 years of experience in the role

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

The Role:

• Design and implement software components both in application and service layer.
• Analyze and fix the issues reported by validation team.
• Responsible for interacting with teams spread across multiple geographies to provide timely solutions to reported problems.

Location: Onsite in our Office (Monday to Friday)

Conversational English

Required Skills:

• Good understanding of Android architecture and Android HAL Layer
• 4+ years of experience in Android development
• Experience in Android code base - Application layer (Java/Kotlin), JNI, Native frameworks
• Good understanding of Android programming environment using Binders, IPC mechanisms
• Good knowledge in Android Services/Framework layer and its debugging
• Programming experience preferably in Java, Kotlin
• Debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in any layer of Android
• Tools: Android source build system, Android debugging tools
