About the Role

The Analyst, Global Travel & Expense candidate will join the Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team. This is a new role for our team and we are excited to find an individual that will play a pivotal role in supporting several high-impact initiatives, such as continuing to develop our expense and credit card program as well as the growth of our global travel platform. The Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Global Travel and Expense, and be a part of the greater T&E team. You will work hybrid, reporting onsite to a local DoorDash office.

This role will be a strategic point of contact for all travel, expense and M&E related processes and platforms. The Analyst will support and maintain the day to day activities of all of the expense and travel functions, including supplier management, data analysis, reporting, and policy adherence. You will engage with internal customers and help with user inquiries, questions related to T&E tools, policies, and processes and identify opportunities on how to improve, assist internal customers by understanding their needs, analyzing and resolving system issues in several tools and platforms. You will monitor and provide quality analysis of org wide expenses to ensure spend is within policy.

  • Review and administer T&E platforms
  • Assist with in new areas and work to develop a T&E expertise, by participating in the implementations of innovative solutions and products, vendors and technology in the T&E space

We’re excited about you because…

  • 2+ years of experience in a support role in a T&E function or similar role
  • Experienced with Google Suite or related software, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experienced with expense systems (ie Brex, Concur, or similar systems)
  • Experience in providing reporting and analysis from data
  • Superb customer service skills, empathy and a “can-do” attitude, that sets you apart
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative, and ability to operate as a team player.
