Accounts Receivable Manager (CxC)

Our client is a Global automotive industry leader, and they have requested us to search for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager (Gerente de Cuentas por Cobrar) to support their operations in Mexico (5 Plants) from their facility in Cuautitlan, Edo. Mex.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee all Accounts Receivable functions, making sure that customer adjustments and payments are posted in an accurate and timely manner. This is not a collections driven role and will provide strategic oversight and team leadership for an established and growing AR team.

Routine Tasks:

• Oversee and lead a team of Accounts Receivable staff to perform all AR-related duties in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
• Performs customer account adjustments within the organization as needed/requested.
• Proactively monitors inter-company daily transfer reports, resolving any discrepancies.
• Oversight of settlement transactions with our business partners.
• Tasked with daily/weekly/monthly reporting and processing functions as it pertains to AR.
• Assists with back-up AR duties as needed.
• Responsible for AR team performance from hire, providing guidance and support including maintaining employee records, leading performance evaluations, making recommendations for career development, and discipline.
• Keep procedures manual and business continuation documentation up to date.
• Monitor daily AR tasks, ensuring they are completed and in a timely and accurate manner.
• Act as point of contact for Accounts Receivable questions, handling any issues or problems, delegating resolutions and results to appropriate parties.
• Participates in the audit of the Funding Department.
• Works cross-functionally with other departments to ensure superior internal & external customer service.
• Assist with any other Accounting/ Finance Department duties as needed.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, or commensurate work experience required.
• 3-5 years Accounts Receivable experience in increasingly elevated roles required.
• Minimum of 2 years of people management/supervisory experience required.
• Automotive industry experience highly desired.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a must.
• Experience with accounting software, excel, and other computer applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organization and responsibility skills are a must.
• Ability to write, read and do math problems.
