Google Account Executive, Google Workspace, New Business in Mexico City, Mexico

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 2 years of experience in sales with Software-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, or Infrastructure-as-a-Service products and platforms.
  3. Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently for interactions with local stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 1 year of experience promoting collaboration or productivity software.
  2. Experience reaching and exceeding quotas and strategic goals in the technology industry in a Sales role.
  3. Understanding of the technology and cloud computing market, with a passion for Google Cloud products (e.g., Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform).
  4. Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.
  5. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.

As a member of the New Business Sales team, you will develop new product initiatives with our Product, Marketing, and Partnerships teams. You will be a thought leader who will find, digest, and share industry trends and key influencers. You'll open doors with potential partners, chat with them about their businesses, and present these opportunities to our executive leaders. You will help discover and shape some of Google's boldest ventures.

Our New Business Sales team works on game-changing ideas, from technological experiments to the expansion of existing businesses into new territories. We're a team of technologists, entrepreneurs and leaders with an eye for what's next, working across Google to develop products and ideas that revolutionize the way people connect with information.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage new customer acquisition via outbound and self-prospection activities.
  2. Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle from prospecting to closing.
  3. Work with cross-functional teams and serve as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.
  4. Work with Customer Engineers and Google Cloud partners to maximize business results and develop opportunities with small and medium businesses.
