The role of the Local Eminence Specialist is to design, develop and execute marketing activities to help grow Accenture’s presence in Mexico. To achieve this, the individual will be responsible for exploring new ways to position Accenture as a leading local brand and drive consideration for our capabilities across target clients and other stakeholders.
This includes working closely with other marketing functions, any external agencies, and contractors, to execute targeted programs or campaigns. In addition, the candidate will build connections in the local business community and help to position Accenture and its leaders in those communities.
Key responsibilities:
Plan marketing strategy and execute programs aligned to the local market strategy. Programs can include advertising, events & sponsorships, collateral/credentials development, direct marketing, writing, web content management, database management, digital marketing, lead generation, merchandise/brand and award/company recognition, among others.
Develop and oversee implementation of internal communications activities to support Accenture’s local positioning and campaigns.
Provide strategic counsel to leadership teams and key stakeholders and advise them on communications strategy and messaging to internal and external audiences.
Oversee program execution to ensure successful completion in terms of quality, effectiveness, time, and budget. This includes tracking and reporting results metrics and success measurement.
Adhere to all communications policies and processes.
Collaborate with LATAM and global Accenture teams, such as Technology and Operations teams, to strengthen brand positioning and leverage relevant regional marketing and communications programs, tailoring as necessary to local market conditions.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Communications, university degree, or equivalent.
Skills & Work Experience:
Work Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in marketing, business development, and/or marketing communications roles.
Knowledge of the local Mexican market.
Good communication skills, fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English.
Good presentation skills.
Exceptional storytelling and writing skills.
Eager to learn and adaptive to a changing environment.
Experience in identifying and building long-term relationships with target audiences.
Meticulous, disciplined, and possess a good working attitude.
Able to handle work pressures and adhere to deadlines.
Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
Good knowledge of Adobe Suite applications.
Knowledge of Portuguese appreciated.
