Job summary
A dynamic tech organization located in County Cavan seeks a proactive Systems Administrator to manage scalable IT infrastructure aligned with business needs. In this role, you'll collaborate with teams to implement and support core systems, ensuring high availability and compliance with security standards. The ideal candidate has a degree in IT-related fields and extensive experience with VMware, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure, along with a passion for problem-solving and communication across diverse teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent experience and certifications.
- Experience in regulated environments with a focus on IT security and compliance.
- Strong communication skills engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to define infrastructure requirements.
- Implement, maintain, and support core infrastructure systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and system issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
