Job summary
A leading project management firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Planning Manager to lead a major industrial transformation. This role involves overseeing a GBP1.25bn portfolio and influencing executive-level decisions. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in planning large capital projects and expertise in Primavera P6 and Earned Value Management (EVM). This position offers a competitive pay rate of GBP25 - GBP31.60 per hour, with four days on-site and one day remote work. Contract duration is until March 2028.
Qualifications
- Substantial background in planning large capital projects, preferably in heavy industry, energy, or infrastructure.
- Expert-level knowledge of Primavera P6, schedule analytics, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Proficiency with NEC contracts and schedule impact assessments is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Set the planning standards and governance for a multi-year programme.
- Influence executive-level decision-making.
- Drive safe, predictable delivery in a complex industrial programme.
