A leading housing organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior leader to oversee disrepair, damp and mould programmes. The role requires substantial experience in housing, strong supplier management skills, and a commitment to improving lives. We’re looking for an experienced and driven senior leader to take ownership of our disrepair, damp and mould, and major works programmes, ensuring they’re delivered to a high standard, on time, and with residents at the heart of everything we do.
This is a strategic and operational leadership role, responsible for managing large-scale programmes, leading teams, influencing senior decision-makers, and working closely with residents and partners to improve the quality of homes across PA Housing.
You’ll play a critical role in driving value for money, strengthening supplier performance, and ensuring our services meet both regulatory expectations and the lived experience of our residents.
You’ll also play a key role in overseeing Awaab’s Law compliance, providing clear performance reporting and practical service improvement recommendations to strengthen our day-to-day operational delivery.

This role requires of the successful candidate to complete a standard DBS check. A standard DBS check will show any spent and unspent convictions.
So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.
Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for and what remedial action , if any, have you have taken since your conviction. Suitable references will also need to be obtained prior to commencement of employment.
