Junior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

I'm currently working with a Business Consulting company, focusing solely on the Public Sector. We currently have an exciting opening for a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a small but growing team, with a strong focus on professional development. You will be joining an experienced team responsible for elements of significant public sector deployment of IT solutions and systems enabling bespoke software.

To be considered for this role you must have the ability to get UK Security Clearance (SC) as a minimum, holding UK nationality.

Experience Required

• Strong Mathematical Background - Degree in a relevant area such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Informatics Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or similar.
• Front-end - React
• Back-end - Spring
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• Java and Python
• Software Solution Design
• Practical knowledge of relational database technologies - SQL

Desirable:

• Experience of DevOps environments in Defence & Security or other Public Sector
• Software virtualisation skills e.g. Docker
• Experienced in scaled Agile environments
• Hold UK Developed Vetting Clearance
