Role: Senior 3rd Line IT Engineer

Location: Liverpool

Salary: up to £40,000 DOE

Work Model: WFH 1/5 days weekly

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior 3rd Line Engineer to join our client's growing team in an MSP environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to clients via remote networking and site visits around the Liverpool area.

Previous MSP experience is highly desired!

1. To provide 3rd line IT support to clients on site and remotely
2. Provide technical support and engineering for networking infrastructures
3. Design, Implementation and contribute to the design of WAN, LAN and Cloud
4. Take ownership of all incidents and problems
5. Provide exceptional customer service to all clients
6. Create and update knowledge base articles
7. Mentor and train team members
8. Assist / be involved in the planning and delivery of projects
9. Communicate efficiently to ensure swift resolution to end user

1. Windows Operating System 7/8/10/11
2. Exchange on prem servers
3. Office 365 and applications (Intune, SharePoint)
4. Microsoft Azure / Entra ID
5. Active Directory / Group Policies
6. Firewall configurations, installs
7. Routing and switch installs
8. DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN management
9. VoIP Systems - troubleshoot, administer

1. MS Certifications
2. PowerShell Scripting / task automation
3. SQL Server troubleshooting
4. Disaster Recovery
5. Antivirus (Eset, Bitdefender)

1. Work from home 1 in 5 days each week, once settled
