Job Description

We are seeking a motivated accountant to join our Finance team in Manchester and advance their career. In this role, you will support the Financial Controller and Assistant Financial Controller in preparing management accounts, ensuring compliance with group guidelines and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare Management and Statutory Accounts to draft stage.
2. Ensure compliance with all Group Accounting Guidelines and procedures.
3. Maintain the asset register.
4. Handle Quarterly VAT returns, Monthly ECSL, and Intrastat reporting.
5. Report Accounting Information to the group.
6. Assist in preparing business forecasts, variance reporting, and ad-hoc reports.
7. Support the finance team locally and within the Rotork Group.

Qualifications

1. Qualification of appropriate Accountancy board (preferably CIMA)
2. Advanced IT skills, particularly Excel to Pivot Table / Vlookup / Macro level
3. SQL knowledge an advantage
4. Experience of working in a finance environment essential, preferably engineering/manufacturing
5. Experience of Sage 200 desirable

Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 per annum + Hybrid working, on site parking
