Job summary
An established agriculture company in Carlisle is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their expanding team. This mostly remote role involves working on a flagship customer-facing platform, making meaningful contributions to projects that have a real-world impact. The ideal candidate will have strong PHP skills and collaborate with major UK supermarkets. The salary for this position is up to £75,000, with fortnightly visits to the Carlisle office.

You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative group working on their flagship customer-facing platform, helping to modernise processes, streamline operations, and drive innovation across the organisation.
This is an ideal role for someone who loves autonomy, ownership, and seeing the direct results of their work.
Their product demand continues to grow, with a market-leading solution used across the US, UK, and New Zealand.
They’re open to strong PHP Developers from any framework background, though they do use Laravel. What’s most important is your ability to understand user needs and translate them into well-designed, well-tested, and well-maintained solutions. You’ll regularly collaborate with some of the UK’s biggest supermarket brands, so the quality of your work truly matters.
The role is mostly remote, with visits to the Carlisle office for collaborative whiteboarding sessions roughly once every two weeks (sometimes even less).
The salary for the Full Stack Developer role is up to £75,000.
