Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire

Salary: £162.31 – £223.63 per day

Start date: Immediately

About The Role

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Year 4 Teacher to join a thriving primary client school in Hull. This is an exciting opportunity for a primary educator to play a key role in supporting the academic and personal growth of lower key stage 2 pupils. The successful candidate will be committed to providing engaging lessons and creating an environment where students can excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons for Year 4 students, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Track and assess pupil progress, providing tailored feedback to support development.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants to support individual student needs and ensure inclusivity.
  • Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the school community.

What We’re Looking For

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience teaching Year 4 or within Key Stage 2.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and a commitment to student achievement.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping students succeed.
  • A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) registered with the Update Service or willing to apply for one.
