Engage Talent Partners are supporting our client to recruit a Waste Management Specialist in Aberdeen.

Working alongside the Hazardous Waste Supervisor, you will be responsible for collecting, storing, and sampling of Hazardous Waste including chemicals and lithium batteries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving orders from clients and filling out necessary paperwork for incoming/outgoing loads.
  • Checking and logging incoming loads while checking, reporting, and logging any non-conformances.
  • Support of colleagues to ensure consistent operation of the hazardous waste facility.
  • Maintaining segregation of different classes of hazardous substances in storage areas.
  • Managing stock levels of waste and materials.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants should have previous experience with waste management, a chemistry qualification, and be well-versed in how to deal with chemicals. You will have good computer literacy and be able to work in a busy environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum HNC in Chemistry or relevant qualifications/work experience, understand health and safety compliance, and be a team player.
