DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Gigamon Sales Engineer, you will:
  • Provide technical Sales support and guidance across the channel for all Gigamon products and services.
  • Perform technical presentations for partners, their customers, and at events.
  • Deliver product demonstrations to showcase Gigamon.
  • Lead Proof of Concepts across the channel, from deployment to completion.
  • Design cloud, security, and network monitoring architectures in collaboration with partners.
  • Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Provide post-sales support to partners and their customers, ensuring their satisfaction with Gigamon.
  • Collaborate with Gigamon to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Manage local technical relationships with Gigamon.
  • Hold the required Gigamon technical certifications.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
About you
The ideal Gigamon Sales Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical area (Computer Science, Computer Engineering); or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-7 years' experience in a sales engineer role in cloud networking and security.
  • Current certifications with Gigamon alliance technologies are desirable.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with partners and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective technical presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Driving licence.
  • Experience in VMWare, AWS, or Azure is desirable.
