We are embarking on a strategic initiative to enhance our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) maturity across various development artefacts, including APIs, design patterns, self-healing automation etc. We seek a Technical Delivery Manager to lead this transformative journey.

The Technical Delivery Manager will lead efforts to elevate our SDLC maturity, ensuring the application of best practices across various artefact buckets. This role extends beyond traditional project management; the ideal candidate will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements, driving both strategic oversight and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SDLC Enhancement: Evaluate current SDLC processes, identify improvement areas, and implement strategies to elevate maturity levels across various development artefacts.
2. Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives aimed at SDLC enhancement, ensuring projects meet objectives, timelines, and budgets.
3. Hands-On Implementation: Collaborate directly with development and operations teams to apply best practices, optimize workflows, and integrate new processes, particularly in API development and automation.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the SDLC process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure seamless project delivery.
6. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and integrating relevant advancements into the SDLC.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in technical delivery management with a focus on SDLC processes and maturity models.
2. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices, including experience with API development and automation frameworks.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, with proficiency in Agile and other project management methodologies.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Strong analytical skills with a track record of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
