About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented First Shift Supervisor / Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy manufacturing facility. This key role will be responsible for leading and motivating a team to achieve production goals while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position requires a bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking individual.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead team members in the pallet room and corrugated assembly area.
• Monitor and track daily production output, identifying and addressing any bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
• Work closely with the Shipping Manager to understand inbound and outbound activities.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with employee training and development.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Forklift operator certification is a plus.
