Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Work one-to-one or with small groups of students to provide additional support.
Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Monitor and track the progress of students, offering help as needed.
Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Support the social and emotional development of students.
Assist with the general welfare of students, including in outdoor activities and during break times.

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students.
An understanding of how to support students with varying learning needs.
