Job description

Are you looking for a support role in Norfolk?

Strategy Education are looking for Learning Support Assistants/Teaching Assistants across Norfolk for Primary and Special Needs Schools.

We have roles available in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, King's Lynn, Thetford, Dereham and Wymondham.

Position times vary between 8.30am - 3.30pm - 4.00pm and will be Monday to Friday. You will be supporting Primary aged students with additional needs including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Autism and ADHD.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support children on a one-to-one basis and will work closely with the class teacher.

  1. Assisting with lesson preparation
  2. Maintaining records and reporting on the students' progress
  3. Creating a positive learning environment

You will need experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. Be a strong communicator and a team player. Have empathy and a passion to help young learners achieve and develop confidence.

Ideally, you will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. You will need a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one. We will need references covering the last 3 years, one from an educational setting.
