Speech and Language Therapist

TimePlan Education are recruiting a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join an Outstanding SEND school in Hounslow on a full-time basis from after the Easter holidays. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working in a specialist school setting with students with multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), severe learning disabilities (SLD), and autism, alongside NHS Band 6 SALT experience. This role involves close collaboration with service providers and parents to ensure that SALT reports and intervention programmes are accurate, up to date, and tailored to each student's needs.

The successful candidate will join the therapy team of an Outstanding school and they will be working across the Primary and Secondary site. This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist clinical skills and embed yourself in the school community.

Job Requirements:

1. Experience of working in an SEND school.
2. Minimum of two years of experience working in a specialist school setting with students with PMLD, SLD and ASD.
3. NHS Band 6 SALT experience.
4. Calm and empathetic.
5. Good behaviour management.
6. Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
7. Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months.
