Specialist Teaching Assistant - SEN Provision
Location: Swadlincote, DE12
Pay: 95- 105 per day
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of learning difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attachment needs, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD).
  • Assist in delivering engaging and accessible lessons to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students.
  • Adapt learning materials to suit individual student needs and abilities.
  • Create a supportive and structured classroom environment that encourages student progress.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and student outcomes.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and identify areas for development.
