Sous Chef - Design Museum- £18.20 per hour
Location: Near Kensington, London
Shifts: 5 days out of 7

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at a venue near Kensington. This is a great opportunity for a skilled chef to step into a leadership role, working closely with the Head Chef in a fast-paced and creative kitchen.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
  2. Lead the team during service, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
  3. Contribute to menu development, bringing fresh and seasonal ideas
  4. Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards
  5. Assist in training and mentoring junior chefs

What we are looking for:
  1. Previous experience as a Sous Chef, or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
  2. Ability to manage a team and run a busy service
  3. Passion for cooking with fresh ingredients
  4. Strong knowledge of stock control and ordering
  5. A positive team player with a genuine love for hospitality
