Salary – $6000 – $9000 a month
A dynamic and rapidly expanding technology platform operating within the local commerce sector seeks a seasoned Senior Architect to join their fully remote R&D team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of a complex, high-transactional system, directly impacting the platform’s scalability, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Architect system evolution for scalability & resilience.
- Enforce architectural standards across teams.
- Document & improve existing architecture.
- Evaluate new features for architectural alignment.
- Guide engineering teams on architectural decisions.
- Establish design reviews & governance.
- Lead technical knowledge sharing.
- Optimise system performance.
- Define & track architectural KPIs.
- Translate strategic vision into architecture.
Requirements:
- 10+ yrs dev, 3+ yrs architect.
- Expert in backend & distributed systems.
- Proven system re-architecture experience.
- Hands-on API, orchestration, & DDD.
- Deep cloud scalability & security knowledge.
- Strong analysis & documentation skills.
- Excellent communication & collaboration.
- CI/CD, containerisation & IaC experience.
- Online transactional systems experience.
- Backend monitoring experience.
