Dive into an exciting full-time opportunity at the heart of Camden with our Learning Disabilities Service. We are on the hunt for a highly skilled Social Work Senior Practitioner to help lead our dynamic team. This role invites a seasoned professional ready to tackle complex casework, specifically within Continuing Health Care and Forensic Social Work. You will manage an intimate caseload of up to three intricate cases and guide two Social Worker practitioners. Working in a vibrant environment, you will juggle crisis management and uphold a comprehensive approach to care planning amidst a legally complex landscape. Join us Monday to Friday for a role balancing ground-breaking work with flexibility, at least 3 days per week. Home based working, if desired up to 2 days a week.

What You Will Do:

1. Manage a small caseload of up to three complex cases, involving court work and interaction with forensic services, with guidance from a Team Manager.
2. Supervise and support two Social Worker practitioners, focusing on Continuing Health Care and maintaining exemplary practice standards.
3. Lead in court work, representing the local authority, especially in Court of Protection proceedings.
4. Deliver precise crisis intervention and management solutions.
5. Implement a whole systems approach to care planning for holistic, coordinated individual care.
6. Collaborate within the team to guide, train, and support junior staff.
7. Lead relevant projects within the service, achieving key goals and outcomes.
