What You’ll Be Doing

1. Develop Killer SEO Strategies: Create and implement high-impact SEO strategies that boost website visibility and organic traffic.
2. Outshine the Competition: Conduct in-depth competitor analysis across our three thriving recruitment sectors plus one Training company: FMCG, Metals & Transport, Education & Lived Experience Workshops within DEI, Mental Health & Resilience.
3. Measure & Optimise: Track performance, analyse key SEO metrics, and refine strategies to drive ongoing improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience in SEO with a strong understanding of SEO best practices, Google algorithms, and search engine ranking factors.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other key analytics platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar.
• Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques, including technical SEO, keyword research, content optimisation, and link-building strategies.
• Experience conducting technical SEO audits and resolving website issues affecting search rankings and performance.
• Ability to track, analyse, and report on SEO performance, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and Domain Authority.
• Knowledge of competitor analysis techniques to identify gaps and opportunities in the recruitment industry.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to provide strategic recommendations.
• Proven experience in improving Domain Authority through effective link-building, content strategy, and site optimisation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex SEO data into actionable insights for non-technical teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with website performance analysis tools such as GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights, and Lighthouse.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
• Expertise in developing and executing link-building strategies to improve Domain Authority and search rankings.
• Previous experience in SEO for recruitment businesses or familiarity with the FMCG, Metals, Transport, or Education industries.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a highly creative marketing team.
• Understanding of Google Ads and PPC (while not strictly SEO, knowledge of SEM strategies can be beneficial).
