Senior Structural Technician – Newcastle

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications: HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil & Structural Engineering

Experience: Significant experience in structural design

Software Skills:

1. Proficient in Revit for modelling
2. Able to produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD (but not essential)

Role & Responsibilities

You’ll be involved in a variety of exciting projects, including:

1. Foundation layouts (piled foundations, pile caps, pads, rafts, retaining walls)
2. RC detailing & bending schedules
3. Structural steel layouts, elevations, sections, and 3D views
4. Ground & upper floor slab detailing
5. Project management, meetings & liaising with design teams
6. Using common data environments (Asite, Projects, etc.)

What We Offer

Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week, office-based with up to 2 days remote working if needed

Holidays: 28 days + your birthday off + bank holidays

Pension: Employer 3%, Employee 4% (+ 1% tax relief, total 8%)
