Job Title: Senior Process Development Technologist
Location: Leicester, UK
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Process Development Technologist to manage customer critical paths from concept to launch, ensuring smooth project delivery in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role involves leading process improvement initiatives, coaching technologists, and supporting key projects while maintaining high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage customer critical paths in line with internal launch processes.
2. Own customer visits and projects from concept to launch.
3. Oversee product trials, including sample testing and documentation management.
4. Lead post-trial meetings and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
5. Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to drive process improvements.
7. Deputize for the Process Development Manager as required.
8. Coach and develop technologists, ensuring alignment with company values.
9. Maintain high quality standards, supporting HACCP processes and allergen controls.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

1. Strong experience in food manufacturing, ideally within chilled foods.
2. Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a small team.
3. Excellent communication skills with internal teams and external customers.
4. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
5. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
6. Knowledge of HACCP and allergen management.
7. HND/BSc in Food Science or related field (desirable).
8. Minimum of 12 months experience in a process or NPD function within food manufacturing.
9. Driving license required.
