The opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Senior PMO Analyst to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust Bank. Having become a fully authorised bank in 2020, we pride ourselves in being a fintech challenger bank, providing specialist property mortgages, retail finance lending and savings accounts to a variety of customers.
Joining our Transformation team within our Technology function, you will lead the Programme Management Office by providing expert analysis, reporting, and strategic insights for successful project delivery. Responsibilities include tracking program deliverables and milestones, supporting project lifecycle adoption, budget and financial management, risk and issue coordination, monitoring project status, and coordinating reporting cycles and governance arrangements. Occasionally you will support project delivery, ensuring documentation is up to date, providing status updates, and helping acquire necessary resources. Key priorities will include:
The role will be on a hybrid working arrangement, 3 days a week from our Basingstoke office and the rest of the week from home.
What we are looking for in you...
What is important to us is that you have demonstrable experience working with PMO methodologies and processes in both agile and waterfall environments, ideally in regulated financial services. You will have proven experience in managing significant budgets with the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within project timeframes, remaining organised in a dynamic work environment. You should have relevant PMO certifications (MoP, P3O or P3GP) and it is desirable that you have Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
What is also important is that you have strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with senior managers and other key internal and external stakeholders around the business. You will have high impact presentation skills, demonstrable leadership skills/capability and the ability to think strategically and big picture. It is important that you are a team player whilst being able to work effectively independently. You will have good knowledge of MS Office programmes which are crucial in this role, with a passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
