An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join their centralized Payroll team. This role is vital for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of wage payments for employees across various sites. This role is as a member of Pilgrims shared Services centralised Payroll team, reporting to the Payroll Team Leader and has specific responsibility for processing of Weekly, Fortnightly, 4-Weekly or Monthly paid employees and all employee benefits.
The role will consist of ensuring accurate and timely processing of wage payments to our factory-based operatives across multiple sites and pension payments to pension fund administrators (Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland & Great Britain). To review and process all available wage data, including worked hours, additional payments including any pension changes, auto and cyclic enrolments and payments to the administrators, statutory payments, tax code changes, P11D and tax year end processing P60 process, etc. The role also includes the administration of all company car changes/updates required to ensure the information is accurately recorded for the P11D process, including the fuel management scheme.
Role also entails accurate review and reporting of related payroll information i.e. management reporting, month end holiday information, worked hours breakdowns etc. as requested/required by the TL role. Liaising closely with relevant linked depts (HR, Accounts) to ensure accurate transfer of information.
The accurate and timeous reporting and payment of the pension fund deductions to the administrators is an integral function of this role.
Maintaining SOX compliance is a major factor within this role.
