Senior Infrastructure Engineer - High Frequency Trading Firm:

A leading £30BN AUM global systematic hedge fund is looking for an exceptional Infrastructure Engineer to join their Crypto Assets division. In this senior role, you'll architect and maintain mission-critical infrastructure powering their cryptocurrency trading operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring world-class production environment reliability while implementing sophisticated monitoring solutions through their technology stack, including Splunk, Telegraf/Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.

Role Impact:

You'll drive excellence across production and non-production environments, optimizing trading data management, service delivery, and server operations. Your focus will include modernizing build and release pipelines for trading applications and network infrastructure. Leading continuous improvement initiatives, you'll enhance the infrastructure's reliability, scalability, and efficiency through advanced automation with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible while working with cutting-edge technologies in a high-performance environment with the best technologists in the industry.

Required Qualifications:

1. Proven infrastructure operations experience in financial technology or similar industry
2. Strong AWS cloud architecture expertise and advanced Linux systems administration
3. Demonstrated success with monitoring solutions (Grafana, Prometheus)
4. Experience optimizing build and release processes in trading environments
5. Networking and troubleshooting capabilities
6. Advanced Python and Bash scripting for automation
7. Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
8. Proven track record managing blockchain nodes and infrastructure
9. Deep knowledge of infrastructure security best practices
10. Strong CI/CD expertise, particularly with Github Actions
11. Solid distributed systems architecture background
12. Experience with modern software development methodologies
13. High-frequency trading infrastructure experience
14. History of implementing large-scale infrastructure automation
