An established industry player in healthcare is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal as the organization embarks on a significant migration from SQL Server to a modern Azure environment. The ideal candidate will have robust experience with the Azure stack, particularly Azure Data Factory and SQL Server, and will be responsible for end-to-end data capabilities development. If you are passionate about data and eager to work closely with stakeholders to enhance data functionalities, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Senior Data Engineer – Healthcare – £60k-£65k – Hertfordshire (1dpw)

Our client is a leading healthcare organisation, right at the beginning of a massive migration from SQL Server into a modern Azure environment and moving their capabilities away from third-party sources into a slick in-house function.

They are now looking to add a couple of Senior Data Engineers to the team, ideally with strong experience in the Azure stack (ADF, Synapse, etc.) and SQL Server, with exposure to Databricks and Power BI being a nice-to-have.

This is a hands-on yet business-facing role, where you’ll spend a good amount of time working with stakeholders across the business to really delve into what they want from their data, before tackling end-to-end responsibility for migrating and building out their data capabilities.
