About The Opportunity

MoonPay is looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our small-but-mighty Content Design team.

You'll join us at an exciting time — working on high-impact, greenfield projects while helping us define what Content Design looks like at a fast-growing crypto company.

This role focuses on our consumer app. Over the past year, we've reinvented it with a brand-new design system at its core. And with that work out of the way, we're looking at how we add functionality that makes our customers' lives simpler.

Reporting to the Head of Content Design, you'll work alongside another Senior Content Designer and the wider app team to help take our consumer experience to the next level.

And whilst you'll be collaborating closely with the consumer app team, the design team will be your home. We're a cross-discipline team of 8, made up of designers who helped build Wise, Starling, Curve and more. We put a lot of effort into supporting each others' design work, with weekly Design Labs, monthly retros, and other rituals that help us all get better at our craft and ways of working.

What you will do

• Play a key part in shaping the tone and voice of our consumer app, helping us set a high bar for content quality
• Collaborate with Product Designers, Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to craft compelling user experiences
• Keep an eye on the end-to-end journey in your space, building visibility, and occasionally contributing to work outside the interface
• Take part in design crits, implementation reviews, and team retrospectives
• Contribute to — and help level up! — our company-wide writing guidelines
• And sometimes, you'll just need to add a little “cowbell” (what we call creative flair)

About You

• You're a skilled Content Designer with 5+ years experience and a portfolio that shows your wins, process, and knack for UX writing
• You can hit the ground running when working solo on projects, and know when to bring in others for feedback
• You're confident using design tools, like Figma, because that's what you'll mainly work in. We don't want you to hide away in a spreadsheet
• Your approach uses data to build a hypothesis before shipping
• You're comfortable presenting your work to stakeholders in both design and product
• Bonus: You've designed apps at a disruptor, scale-up, or challenger brand in tech or a regulated industry

What you will be working with/on

• Writing for MoonPay's consumer app and designing experiences that make crypto simple for everyone
• Pairing with a fellow Content Designer, PMs, Engineers, and Product Designers to bring your ideas to life
• Leveraging our design system, Orion, and interface design and prototyping tools like Figma
• Shaping and refining our content design resources, including our vocabulary guidelines
