Senior Business Development Manager – Security Technology

Job title: Senior Business Development Manager – Security Technology

Our client, a pioneering security technology company, is revolutionizing the security response landscape. As a cutting-edge marketplace, they connect monitoring centres, security system installers, and facilities management businesses with the closest vetted private security response vehicles – anytime, anywhere. Covering over 160,000 sites across the UK, they serve retail, public sector, commercial, and residential clients, reaching 99% of the UK population. With operations in the UK, Africa, and the US, their mission is to make emergency services more accessible, inclusive, and effective through advanced technology.

This is a national role - you can be based anywhere in mainland UK.

What’s on Offer?

  1. Competitive Salary: Base salary in the £80K range with OTE potential of 50% of base.

  4. Uncapped Commission: Quarterly payments, with deal sizes ranging from £2,000 to £20,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting large security businesses, FM companies, and installers.
  2. Identify and engage key decision-makers, including regional operations directors and technical teams.
  3. Present services effectively to potential clients, highlighting innovative technology and transparency.
  4. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
  5. Position solutions as an integral part of a client’s overall security package, including keyholding and emergency response services.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Proven track record in business development, ideally within the security or FM sectors.
  2. Experience selling to top-tier security businesses, FM companies, or security response firms.
  3. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a hunter mentality and excellent written communication.
  4. Ability to deliver corporate presentations with confidence.
  5. Understanding of security response services, keyholding, and FM solutions is a plus.
  6. A strong network of industry contacts is highly desirable.
