A successful practice specialising in Architecture, Urban Design & Interior Design requires a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team in Chelmsford.

We are looking for an Architectural Technologist with the confidence to jump immediately into a senior-level role with a design practice that has forged an enviable reputation for design quality and originality.

This role would see you specialise within the Residential sector, and the ideal candidate would be a CIAT accredited Architectural Technologist - however, the role could also suit technically-minded Architects too. You would also need to have proven ability in leading a team, liaising with other consultants, and possess excellent client-facing skills.

Senior Architectural Technologist Responsibilities Include:

1. Leading projects from inception to completion - in particular RIBA Work Stages 4-6
2. Managing and Coordinating a project team
3. Forecasting and Coordinating project resource and work-flow
4. Providing technical expertise across a variety of projects from inception to completion across all RIBA stages
5. Preparing and Coordinating technical design packages, building regulation submissions, tender and contract documentation
6. Liaising closely with clients
7. Providing on-site technical support to clients and/or contractors

If you are a Senior Architectural Technologist capable of carrying out the responsibilities above, you must also have the following requirements:

1. Relevant Architectural Technology degree
2. At least 10 years UK Architecture industry experience
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT and/or ArchiCAD

With the office situated in Chelmsford, this practice is commutable from Colchester, Braintree, Harlow, Brentwood & Billericay.
