About Us:

My client is a leading Architecture firm specializing in Heritage and Conservation projects. With a strong reputation for innovative design and technical excellence, they are looking for a talented Senior Technologist or Senior Architect to join their dynamic team in their Cambridge office.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Technologist / Senior Architect, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee technical design, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage architectural projects through 3-7 RIBA stages.
2. Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
3. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
4. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
5. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
6. Utilize software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS software.
7. Conduct site visits, inspections, and resolve technical issues during construction.

Requirements:

1. Senior Technologist: Degree/HND in Architectural Technology or a related field.
2. Senior Architect: Degree in Architecture (RIBA Part III or equivalent preferred).
3. At least 15 years of post-qualification experience working as a Project Architect or Technologist for a UK-based practice. RIBA/ARB or an equivalent professional qualification, such as CIAT.
4. Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other industry-standard software.
5. Extensive knowledge of building regulations, planning policies, and construction methodologies.
6. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
