Job Description:

As a Red Team Technical Lead in the Cyber Attack & Defence Team you will join a team of experienced, passionate and dedicated security professionals who provide technical security testing services to a wide range of organisations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and determined Red Team Technical Lead to support members of the A&D team in their development and work on a range of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentoring and Training: Mentor, guide, and inspire a growing team, sharing expertise in offensive security tactics and practices.
• Simulate Adversarial Attacks: Develop, plan, and execute cyber-attack scenarios to uncover vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the infrastructure, applications, and processes of high-maturity clients.
• Engage and Collaborate: Work effectively as part of a team on large engagements. Foster strong relationships with colleagues, client contacts, C-Level teams, and other stakeholders.
• Report and Advise: Clearly communicate findings, vulnerabilities, and potential risks to stakeholders, providing actionable technical recommendations and improvements. Develop attack narratives to help non-technical stakeholders understand the actions taken.
• Client Relationships: Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations; track and drive to closure any issues that impact the service and its value to clients.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest adversarial techniques, tools, and trends in Red Teaming and cyber security. Share insights from successful techniques and evaluate and implement new methodologies as needed. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages continuous learning.
• Tool and Techniques: Contribute to the development and improvement of red team tools, automation, and infrastructure.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Proven experience in advanced red teaming techniques.
• Experience with regulatory schemes such as xBEST, STAR/STAR-FS, and TIBER-EU.
• Extensive knowledge of security testing requirements and techniques, demonstrated by industry qualifications such as Certification in CREST Certified Red Team Specialist (CCRTS) (formerly CCSAS) and CREST Certified Simulated Attack Manager (CCSAM).
• Comprehensive understanding and experience in multiple domains including:
• Cloud platforms and their security mechanisms
• Microsoft 365 Security
• EDR/EPP evasion
• Developing applications in C#, ASP, .NET, ObjectiveC, Go, or Java (J2EE).
• Proactive team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
