Recruitment Consultant £25 - 30k Basic plus bonus

We have an amazing opportunity to join our growing and successful team as a Trainee Recruiter. New starters generally earn £50-55k in their first year, with this only increasing each year. We are an established, growing business with big plans for the future – We’d love you to be part of that in our head office just outside Reading.

You would be taking over our desk covering the APAC region and as such, would need to speak at least one of the following languages fluently:

• Japanese
• Korean

This is an existing desk with clients and incoming jobs in place.

What a Recruitment Consultant does:

• Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies.
• Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in a contract.
• Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client - briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question.
• Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants.
• Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client.
• Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates.
• Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated.
