We have an opportunity for a Commercial Property Owners Underwriter (Real Estate) to join our great Underwriting team on a hybrid basis.

Your Role

This role involves working with selected brokers to optimise profitable growth. You will apply a range of underwriting, relationship management and business development techniques to help achieve this growth. This applies to a range of new and/or existing cases within our agreed process and defined underwriting appetite.

You will spend most of your time working with your selected brokers, identifying, discussing, negotiating and converting/renewing new/existing business opportunities and making effective underwriting decisions. Within this role you will underwrite Commercial Property Owners and Blocks of Flats.

About You

To be successful in your role of Property Owners Underwriter you will require experience within Commercial Property Owners from either a New Business or Existing Business perspective. We would also consider experience of Commercial Underwriting within an insurance organisation.

You will be able to build working relationships with insurance brokers and write profitable business to ensure growth of the account.
