A new opening has arisen for a Senior PI Underwriter to join a large PI underwriting team, as a pivotal London Underwriter, working 3 days in the City office (and 2 from home).

Reporting directly into the Head of Professional Indemnity, this role will focus on the underwriting of UK PI business.

Experience is ideally sought in:

All professions i.e.

• Architects
• Accountants
• Design & Construct
• Engineers
• Surveyors
• Media
• IT
• Solicitors

Key Responsibilities:

• Both primary and excess layer business
• Experience writing risks from £2k to £50k GWP
• Offering technical PI advice to Brokers
• Conducting broker meetings independently
• Networking with London Market and Regional Brokers (strong relationships a plus)
• People mentoring/management
