Grade: Level 10 (subject to review)

Salary: £37,938 - £40,476 (subject to review)

Hours: 37

This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

Our newly structured Information, Knowledge, Performance and Research Service is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to help drive impactful change in public health, protection and wellbeing.

In this role, you’ll manage, transform and analyse complex health and wellbeing data to help identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve health outcomes across Stoke on Trent.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and analyse health data to inform decision-making.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop data-driven solutions.
  3. Develop predictive modelling and machine learning techniques to improve public health strategies.
Minimum Requirements:

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have experience in data science, statistics, or a related field, some familiarity with health data and public health issues, and proficiency in Power BI, Python, R, SQL, or similar tools.
