Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Planner located in Tilbury. The Project Planner will be responsible for supporting project planning activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and assisting in the development and maintenance of project schedules.
The Project Planner will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by developing, monitoring, maintaining, and updating project schedules in collaboration with the project teams. This role involves tracking progress, identifying variances, and providing detailed reports to the team, including updates on changes to the critical path and key project milestones.
The role will also involve analysing project data, preparing reports, and helping ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience with project planning and coordination
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or other project management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and terminology
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Assess and record time impacts and delays
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
