Job Title: Freelance Project Manager - Distribution Centre Projects

Location: North East (Both Sites Local - Must Be Commutable)

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Ongoing until November 2025

Pay Rate: £310 per shift (CIS)

Job Overview:

We're looking for a strong Freelance Project Manager to take the lead on two large distribution centre schemes in the North East, with an immediate start. The projects will overlap, so managing multiple live sites and juggling priorities is key.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity running through to November 2025, working with a reputable contractor on major industrial builds.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full project management from pre-construction through to handover across both sites
2. Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure works are delivered to spec, on time and within budget
3. Lead site meetings, manage health & safety, and track progress against programme
4. Liaise with senior leadership, supply chain and on-site teams daily
5. Oversee day-to-day running of site with a proactive, solutions-driven approach

Requirements:

1. SMSTS - Essential
2. Black CSCS Card - Essential
3. 3-Day First Aid - Essential
4. Asbestos Awareness - Preferred
5. Fire Marshal Certificate - Preferred
6. DBS Check
7. Previous experience delivering fitouts of distribution centre / industrial / warehouse projects
8. Able to manage multiple schemes simultaneously
9. Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
10. Based in or commutable to the North East
