Job Title: Production Supervisor 2nd and 3rd Shift

Location: Wakefield, Nebraska

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 plus bonus

Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Supervisor, you will:

• Drive Excellence: Ensure the production of high-quality products at the lowest possible cost, adhering to good manufacturing practices.
• Foster Safety: Promote and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Resolve Challenges: Quickly identify and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate Resources: Collaborate with maintenance, sanitation, and other teams to achieve production and quality goals.
• Oversee Costs: Manage ingredient usage and departmental expenses to align with budget targets.
• Enforce Policies: Apply company policies consistently and fairly, maintaining workplace harmony.
• Support Employees: Encourage team suggestions to improve production, quality, and safety, while providing regular feedback and holding monthly meetings.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate records, including timecards, downtime logs, and absentee reports.
• Ensure Compliance: Follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMPs, and food safety standards to maintain product quality.
• Communicate Effectively: Keep leadership informed of operating issues, employee concerns, and overall performance.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience & Education:
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to direct, train, and motivate a team to meet and exceed goals.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong decision-making skills to address and resolve issues efficiently.
• Communication Expertise:
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in cold, wet, noisy, and humid environments.
• Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively.
• Self-Motivation: A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
