About the Role:

As a Production Associate in the Warehouse, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant management of goods, inventory, and packaging materials while maintaining high warehouse operation standards. In close collaboration with the Warehouse team, you will be supporting inventory control, goods receivable and dispatch, and continuous improvement initiatives at our Chefgood site, located in Keysborough.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operating forklifts to support inventory and stock management.
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of ingredients, packaging, and consumables.
• Assisting with stocktake of goods inventory and packaging materials.
• Unloading and loading trucks efficiently and safely and ensuring perishable goods are delivered in accordance with food safety standards.
• Checking for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organised, including putting rubbish in bins.
• Working in and out of freezer and cool rooms as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be available to work Mondays through to Fridays as operationally required.
• Must possess a valid Forklift Licence.
• Possess a keen eye for detail.
• Self-starter with initiative, and great communication skills.
• Knowledge of the food industry.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Can exercise good judgement and think creatively.
• Adapts well to changes that inevitably come along with an evolving business.
• Experience working in a production/warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in a temperature controlled environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 20kg crates.
